Author Guidelines

Manuscripts, written in English, should be a maximum of 35 pages (including text and notes, both double-spaced and printed in 12-point font). Use end notes, following the Chicago Manual of Style guidelines, and begin these on separate page. Prospective authors also should include a brief 50–100 word bio suitable for the journal's "Notes on Contributors" section

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  3. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
